I’m Jaime, co-founder of Word of Mouth with my husband, Yonatan. Our practice lives in a loft studio off Melrose in Los Angeles, and our marriage is the root of it. The business is a reflection of our union, and both are here to leave the world a little better than we found it.
I’ve spent more than fifteen years in movement and strength work: I’m an ACE certified personal trainer, with certifications in TRX, kettlebell athletics, functional strength and conditioning, and pre- and postnatal training. I’ve been coaching people one-on-one for six years.
In early 2020, Yonatan and I began studying Reiki in the Usui lineage with Sensei Julia Albain, completing Level 1, Level 2, and our Master certification with her. We became certified breathwork practitioners in 2022. The strength work taught me how bodies change; Reiki taught me why some things won’t shift until the nervous system feels safe.
What I bring to a session is direct and warm. I’ll tell you the true thing, and I’ll hold the room while you feel it.
